Our name “Empleos Fuera” means “jobs abroad”
Our Service

At Empleos Fuera we specialise in the recruitment and placement of permanent qualified staff from Spain to work in Ireland and the UK. Our name “Empleos Fuera” means “jobs abroad”. Our aim is to provide our clients and candidates alike with a first-class service that they will use again and again and recommend to others.

Empleos Fuera provides a cost-effective way of finding you the best Spanish child care professionals. If you don’t have the time or resources to read through Spanish job applications and resumes, screen and shortlist candidates, check references and schedule first and second interviews, it makes sense to use an experienced local job agency to find staff.

Empleos Fuera understands how important it is for children to be looked after by caring and properly vetted people. We make sure all checks are up to date and each candidate has been met face to face and passed all our interview screening processes. This personable approach is the key to the development of our relationships with our clients and candidates.

Our service involves working closely with our clients to establish their needs and to dovetail in with their recruitment and compliance processes at home so that a candidate recruited from Spain goes through exactly the same process as one recruited in Ireland or the UK.

If you would like to talk to us in more detail about how Empleos Fuera can work together with you to compliment your existing recruitment process in Ireland or the UK please contact us.

We look forward to working with you.

Our Recruitment Process

All our candidates must complete a candidate registration form which details their qualifications and work history. We can then ascertain immediately if they have the right requirements for the positions we are looking to fill.

Candidates then have a telephone interview with us in both Spanish and English, where we will gain more details about their experience and build up a profile to enable suitable matching.

If following the telephone interview, we are satisfied with their profile, we invite them to a face to face interview. At this point we check and copy all original documents including:

  • Proof of Identity
  • Training and qualifications
  • Criminal Record Check
  • A minimum of two references are obtained which cover at least the last three years of work history and have to be verified by the previous employers

If we believe the candidate suits the profile required by our client we call both referees and check all details of the references. Provided we are satisfied as to their suitability for the role we recommend the candidate to our client who has final say as to whether they wish to employ the individual.

If you would like any further information, please contact us.

And finally, why hire from Spain?

The Spanish are renowned for their love of children and they are very attentive and caring. The main vocational childcare qualification in Spain, the Tecnico de Educacion Infantil, is recognised as a NFQ level 5 qualification for working with Early Years sector in Ireland, furthermore there are many university teaching qualifications from both early childhood education (Grado/Maestro en Educacion Infantil) to primary education (Grado/Maestro en Educacion Primaria) which are also approved for working in this sector.

Many Spanish childcare professionals bring an element of vivaciousness to the centre where they work and add an international element to the day to day lives of the children. Often, the Spanish staff working in the crèches/ pre-school centres end up teaching their charges words in Spanish and the children love it!
